Position Description
Develop and execute the marketing strategy for the building of corporate partnerships to enable America's Second Harvest (A2H) to reach its financial goals.
Job Responsibilities
Support national brand marketing plan with strategic effort to build more engagement among corporate partners.
In partnership with Resource Development department, develop and create marketing strategies to better align A2H and corporate partner needs.
Develop the strategic marketing initiatives to allow Resource Development to optimize their funding base among new and existing donors.
Develop supporting cause-marketing programs, campaigns and presentation materials in support of the corporate donor giving strategy.
When necessary, partner with Communications to develop PR effort to enhance public engagement behind cause-marketing effort.
Develop and deploy multi-media elements -- e.g., online, tv/radio, PR events, on-pack promotions--to execute cause-marketing plans effectively as measured by public awareness, donor engagement and brand image metrics.
Act as in-house expert/service provider/central liaison for other departments and the Network in corporate marketing efforts.
Extend plans to involve Network members and tailor to their needs as necessary.
Collaborate on marketing implications for other internal departments (e.g. message points, brand standards, newsletters, etc.).
Create operational alignment to goals.
Develop measurement plan (in partnership with Research and Analysis Department) for performance vs. goals.
Manage budgets and vendor relationships.
Applicant Qualifications
BA/BS in Marketing or Related field. MBA desirable.
8-10 years of progressive direct and online marketing experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
Partnership marketing a significant plus.
Additional non-profit experience is appreciated but not a requirement.
Industry experience in consumer package goods , particularly the food or beverage industry, will have an advantage.
Experience developing and executing successful national marketing promotions and partnership programs with breakthrough ideas across a variety of communication and media channels (with online emphasis).
Experience integrating promotional campaigns with broader brand standards.
Enjoy working with a network of field constituents and developing local extensions to national promotions, to fit their needs.
Enjoy working with a cross-functional team.
Proven experience identifying new strategic opportunities and an ability to analyze program effectiveness.

Must consistently deliver superior customer service to all internal and external clients.
