Job Description
West Coast Area Fundraiser
B’nai B’rith International, seeks dynamic West Coast Area Fundraising Director to help implement outreach/fundraising efforts. Position will be located in Los Angeles area and managed through organization’s national development office in Washington, D.C.
Ideal candidate must have strong communication and presentation skills to provide leadership to the fundraising and philanthropic programs of B’nai B’rith. He/she will be responsible for identifying, tracking, cultivating and soliciting annual gifts, conducting parlor meetings, and assisting in acquiring honorees for award dinners. Candidate will focus on enlisting long-term financial support for B’nai B’rith through individuals, foundations, and corporations. Travel required.
Ideal candidate will have a B.A., five to ten years fundraising experience, be able to work individually and as part of a team, and have demonstrated ability to strengthen an organization's financial base. Excellent benefits. Salary commensurate with experience.
