Description:
The Charlotte chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has immediate opening for a creative, enthusiastic, team-orientated individual to implement our Walk program and other fundraising events. The Special Event Coordinator will be responsible for the planning and execution of various walks, including recruitment of event participant’s, volunteers, sponsors, committee members and expanding existing support base. Individual will also assist with coordinating the logistics of other events, solicit auction items and corporate sponsors, assist with volunteer recruitment and build relationships with CF families. Our ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of fundraising experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel a must. Strong communication skills required.
